Group Leader for Full Day DIRFloortime Program

We Are Hiring!

Join our team as a Group Leader for our full-day DIRFloortime program at Hong Kong’s first DIRFloortime school! This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the neurodivergent community using a unique, evidence-based approach.

Locations:

1. Tseung Kwan O
2. Prince Edward

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • DIR 201 Certification (Basic DIRFloortime Provider)
  • At least one year of experience practicing DIRFloortime (preferred)
  • A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience
  • Proficiency in English

 

Key Responsibilities:

As a Group Leader, you will:

  • Work with children aged 5 to 12 years
  • Utilize evidence-based practices with a relationship-based, strengths-focused approach
  • Promote neurodivergent self-advocacy for individuals and their families
  • Facilitate learning and development by providing a “just right” challenge tailored to each child’s unique differences and developmental capacities
  • Implement a developmental-based approach to set appropriate program goals and conduct assessments
  • Collaborate closely with families and external professionals
  • Embrace a transdisciplinary team model, working alongside occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and psychologists

Speech and Language Therapist

The Children’s Centre (TCC) is looking for highly motivated and passionate Speech Therapists to work with our Team at two of our locations.

Locations:

1. Tseung Kwan O
2. Prince Edward

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Provide Centre-based and School-based assessments and interventions for children with additional needs.
  • Provide one-on-one and group sessions with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (or other developmental challenges) and their families delivering evidence-based intervention.
 

Qualifications:

  • An internationally recognised degree or equivalent in Speech Therapy- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Highly desirable in Cantonese/Mandarin.
  • Experience AAC, SCERTS and DIR Floortime is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, adaptability, creativity and resourcefulness.

Job Description:

The Children’s Centre (TCC) has extensive experience working with children (birth to 18 years old) with additional needs. We are proponents of using the power of relationships and human connections along with meaningful activities to promote engagement, communication and thinking.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Provide Centre-based and School-based assessments and interventions for children with additional needs.
  • Provide one-on-one and group sessions with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (or other developmental disabilities) and their families delivering evidence-based intervention.
 

Qualifications:

  •  An internationally recognised degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy with a valid Practising Certificate (Part 1) in Hong Kong.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Highly desirable in Cantonese/Mandarin.
  • Experience with sensory integration and DIR Floortime is preferable.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, adaptability, creativity and resourcefulness.
